RESULTS OF THE POLISH INTERNATIONAL SUDOKU CHAMPIONSHIP
The Polish International Sudoku Chamionship is over
Jan Mrozowski - 21-year old student from Kraków became the Polish International Sudoku Master. Ritesh Gupta from New Delhi took the 2nd palce, Paweł Kwiatkowski form Warsaw was third.
Jan Mrozowski isn't a newcomer to sudoku competitions. He took second place in the on-line sudoku world champioship last year. Among different sudoku variants he likes sukodu killer most. In his opinion the roman sudoku was the nicest puzzle during the Polish International Sudoku Championship. Before the championship Mrozowski was training by solving puzzles from similar sudoku competitions.
And now a few facts about the championship
- we received answers from 213 participants from 22 countries, most of them from Poland (122), with India (27) and Germany (13) next.
- puzzles no.1 (93 % correct answers) and no. 5 (91 % correct answers) were the easiest puzzles
- puzzle no.8 ( 73 % correct answers) and puzzle no.6 (75% corect answers) brought participants the most trouble
